A Web3 Metropolis 'The Gateway' Announces Programming Schedule

Next week will mark the formal start of The Gateway: A Web3 Metropolis, an event that will unite the best of web3 and the NFT community across 12 buildings and two whole Downtown Miami city blocks. The public programming for the week will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at noon ET, following the press preview on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

There are panels and fireside conversations with some of the biggest names in web3 every day, as well as musical performances by some of the most exciting up-and-coming artists.

November 30th (Wednesday)

The Web3 Metropolis will start its series of scheduled presentations and panels at the nearby Dupont building the next day, on Wednesday, No. 30. nft now CEO Matt Medved will moderate a fireside talk about the future of SuperRare at 12:30 p.m. ET to kick off the day’s programming.

A panel by Porsche on creating communities in web3 is scheduled for that day at 2:00 p.m. ET, and another fireside chat with VeeFriends founder Gary Vaynerchuk is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET and will be moderated by nft now president Alejandro Navia.

A special web3 music showcase, featuring Heno, Iman Europe, Latashà, and more, will end Wednesday’s run at the Dupont Building at 6:00 p.m. ET.

December 1st (Thursday)

Additionally, on Thursday, the DuPont building will host cutting-edge instructional and practical intelligence from web3’s top experts. At 1:10 PM ET, there will be a panel discussion on Instagram’s recent efforts to further popularize NFTs.

At 1:50 p.m. ET, there will also be a conversation with MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright and nft now CEO Matt Medved. JN Silva, Julie Pacino, Nelson G. Navarette, and others will participate in a round-table discussion on the state of cinema NFTs at 3:50 p.m. ET. Then, a panel discussion featuring Medved, Ayla El-Moussa, Lydia Chen, and Rhymezlikedimez will go on stage. Subsequently, they will discuss the upcoming Christie’s sale at The Gateway 2022.

DJ sets from AdWorld and The Whooligan, running from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., all times ET, will wrap out Thursday’s events.

December 2nd, (Friday)

The DuPont building will host a number of discussions on various facets of the expanding NFT art scene on Friday, all of which will be directly related to the NFT community as a whole. At 12:30 PM ET, Joseph Lubin, the co-founder of Ethereum, will participate in a panel discussion on achieving ConsenSys. After that, at 1:10 PM ET, Sasha Stiles and Ana Mara Caballero will speak about literary NFTs, and at 1:50 PM ET, Shira Lazar, Alex Zhang, BLOND:ISH, and Ed Balloon will discuss how “community” on Web3 is much more than simply a catchphrase.

At 2:30 pm ET, TIME president Keith A. Grossman will discuss the future of web3 media with co-founders of nft now Matt Medved and Alejandro Navia. At 3:10 PM ET on Friday, a panel featuring Alexandra Edmonds, Ilse Valfré, Dave Krugman, and Vinnie Hager will provide guests an inside look at how Instagram is facilitating the web3 creation journey. Exactly at 3:50 PM ET, Lexy Schmertz and Bright Moments founder Seth Goldstein will g on stage. They will discuss the importance of art criticism and appreciation in the field of digital art. And at 4:30 PM ET, nft now COO Sam Hysell will give a bird’s-eye view of the state of music NFTs. He will do so along with Latashà, Shannon Herber, Spottie Wifi, and Cooper Turley.

DJ Dave and Daniel Allan will each do one-of-a-kind multimedia performances to wrap up the day at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. ET, respectively.

An End to the Web3 event- December 3rd, (Saturday)

For The Gateway 2022’s last day of scheduled programming on Saturday, Dec. 3, panels are kicking off at 1:10 p.m. ET with a discussion on brand building in the digital age led by Micah Johnson.

Following this, Swan Sit, Avery Akkineni, Amanda Cassatt, and Jennifer Styles are holding a panel on the state of marketing in web3 at 1:50 p.m. ET, with a panel on the growing luxury segment in web3 led by GMoney and Chris Coleman following soon after at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Closing the week’s comprehensive spread of web3 discussion and education is a 40-minute discussion with some of the NFT space’s most prominent creators, namely Roger Dickerman, Sam Spratt, Raf Grassetti, and Blake Kathryn at 3:10 p.m. ET. To bring the week to an end, Sight Beyond Sound DJ and Falcons x Joaqun are heading a five-hour long run of music for attendees looking to keep the party going.
